An episode rewrite that makes the series go AU starting in season 2 halloween when they all become their costumes. The twist: Drusilla secretly conspires in her moments of lucidity to make Spike happy by setting him up with Buffy using her visions and Ethan Ryans halloween chaos. Can be any rating and the longer the better. I'm also a sucker for a nice happy ending with a little angst to get there. Can have the story title what ever you like.

Must have:

1.Drusilla somehow convincing Spike to dress up in a costume (can be full out or like Xander just had the gun)

2.Spike and Buffy having compatible costumes (she dosent have to have the same as in cannon)

3.The spell must last longer than in cannon

4.Something life altering must happen durring the spell that carries over to real life (example but not nessisarily a claim)

5.Buffy must break up with Angel not the other way around.

6. At least 50k words

Must not have:

1. Rape (actual) can only be implied or almost and only to a non-main charcter by a villian.

2. Major charcter death that's not in cannon.

3. Major Angel or Xander bashing ( they deserve a little but don't go overboard and make them into villians)

4. No Buffy Angel sex (if he becomes Angelus please have it happen another way)

5.Spike can't figure out that Drusilla did it on purpose until much later in the story after the spell has been broken and he's well on his way or already in love with Buffy.

I have always liked Drusillas charcter and secretly thought she knew all about Spike and Buffy the moment she found him heart broken in that ally and that's why she sired him.
