Response to Vamphile's Fanfic challenge: Bring her back - anyway, anyhow. This is a WARNING - this is a real departure from my usual stuff in both style and content. Not only in terms of the heavy smut, but it's a POV, and rather dark. If that's not your scene - well, you've been told.

This is fic stands alone, but it might be more enjoyable if you read the one that comes before it, ‘Black the Sun'. This is kind of an AU piece - I've borrowed elements of Season Five plot and character action (eg: Dawn, Joyce's illness), but not necessarily stayed true to the show's development of those arcs.
