I keep having the strangest dream. Every night it's the same thing: a dark room, a big bed, and a silent vampire that I can feel, but not see. I'd be wigged, except it's just a dream, right? It'll be a cold day in hell before I ever willingly sleep with a vampire again...

Normally I dislike POV fictions, but you have me hooked. Well done, especially using that style of writing.

Amazing story, all of it. Especially loved the little inside jokes so to speak; poking fun at Twilight and refrences to past episodes. Very well written and true to character.

Summary: After the Buffy fights Jonathan-in-a-demon-suit, Spike brings her home. A bit of snarky fluff set in Life Serial.

very cute

Author's Response: thank you!

Summary: She'd kicked his butt, taken the Gem and sent it off to Angel. Buffy thought she'd seen the last of Spike. Clearly, she’d been too optimistic. That he was in her house, in her room, waking her out of a sound sleep and asking for (okay, demanding) her help meant that something had to be majorly wrong. They weren't due for another apocalypse, but...why else would a vampire make a truce with the Slayer?

After this chapter, I am officially hooked. You've set up a great mystery. Can't wait to read more.

The characterization in this is really great.

"The whole bloody town is asleep! What? You think they're going to start spontaneously leaking?" - This made me laugh out loud.

I loved this chapter. The lists at the beginning were great, and I love where this ends. Spike still mostly wants to kill her, but there are moments where he's starting to realize that she means something to him. I can't wait to read more.

Thank you so much for keeping everyone in character. Part of what I love about Buffy and Spike is how they fight. If Buffy just gave in and made with the smoochies it not only wouldn't be believable but unfulfilling as well. So, thanks for not caving to those grouchy reviews. This story is awesome.

I am loving this story so much right now! It's very in character and I'm really interested to see where the plot goes next with this new discovery.

I have really enjoyed reading this. I'll admit for some reason I thought it was already finished when I clicked on it so I'm sad to see it's not, especially when the plot was really starting to get interesting this chapter. I hope you return to this someday. It's a great story!

Summary: Future fic. Decades after the battle in Los Angeles and two years after a small army of Slayers destroyed the Dragvlok homeland, Dragvloks are on a mission to destroy the Slayer line. It’s up to a Slayer in California and the self-appointed Saviour of Slayers to stop the bloodshed. Both think they’re on a mission to save the next generation of Slayers, but they may just end up saving each other.

Amazing again. Love Angel's temper tantrum.

Author's Response: What\'s funny is that you don\'t actually see the tantrum, you just hear it through the wrist-thingie. So glad you liked that chapter. It was really fun to write.

Damn cliffhangers. Every last word has me holding on for dear life, and I'm hoping you update again soon. Amazing story.

Author's Response: Wow. Thanks so much!

Summary: It starts with a betrayal- and not the one that you were expecting.
Spike’s been tossed around by the Slayer too many times to count, but this time she’s gone too far. Her ritual of self-congratulatory humiliation has made him a laughing stock, and it’s the final straw. They’ve never been friends, but she’s forgotten that they are enemies.
No more of it.
But then the Slayer is shot, and the culprit is a freckle-faced eleven year old boy with a vendetta and wide, wet eyes. He’s an unlikely villain and the Scoobies can’t face interrogating him so Spike is tempted in to play Bad Cop while the Slayer lies unconscious in a hospital bed.
“To forgive is an act of compassion. It's not done because people deserve it, it's done because they need it.”

Again, loving this. How Buffy and Spike react to one another as they try to understand their own feelings is perfect. I would love to see a sequel through Buffy's perspective, I find myself wanting to get into her head; but I do like that this is written in Spike's perspective.

I realize you just updated but I'm hoping you update again soon, this cliffhanger is going to be eating away at me. On another note, I've been wondering if the boy was somehow related to those knights of Byzantium that were trying to get to Dawn in S5. Now I'm not so sure, interested to see where you go with everything.

Summary: Six months after the battle of the Hellmouth, Buffy brings her team to Wolfram & Hart on a legal matter and finds that she’s been kept out of the loop in some important ways.

Winner of Best Post-Series Finale, runner-up for Best Female Characterization (for Buffy) and Best Romance in Round 27 of the Sunnydale Memorial Fanfiction Awards.

I really like the start of this. All through Angel season 5 I was hoping for a crossover, well more of a crossover than just Andrew that is. My only little hang up is that I don't completely believe that Gunn would have no idea about Buffy and Spike's past. I could see him letting that Spike was back slip, but it feels like he's being a little too oblivious about it. Still, I'm intrigued to see what happens next.

Author's Response:

In a way, Spike being there is one enormous crossover, I think. I know I wouldn't have been as excited to watch it without that!

Fair cop about Gunn. My feeling was that he'd be a bit starstruck about finally meeting THE Buffy — who has been this looming background figure for Angel — but maybe not that clued into her importance to Spike, which Angel downplays at every opportunity. Also, I like to think that Gunn would have assumed that Angel was keeping Buffy informed of little things like, oh say, her lieutenant is back from the dead. His surprise that she doesn't know just conveys the breakdown of communications within Team Angel, as well as without.

I really appreciate comments that discuss the characters motivations and viewpoints. That's the stuff that generally gets me writing in the first place, you  know? Thanks for weighing in.

Summary: Instead of sending Buffy on to her well-deserved reward, Glory's portal spits Buffy out into Spike's evil past.  Written for Seasonal Spuffy, this story is complete (there will be 20 chapters total).
WARNING:  This is about an EVIL Spike, so he is going to be... evil.  Most of his evil will be committed off-screen, however.

This was awesome. I'm a sucker for time travel stories and I applaud you for taking us back to WWI. I've read lots of Buffy and Spike go back to the 1880's, and this was really different. I also liked that they never actually hooked up and that it ends a little open-ended. If you'd done more I think it would have lost believability and as it stands it's complete. Your original characters were well written and altogether I really enjoyed this. Thanks for sharing.

I really enjoyed this fic! The beginning, when they still don't have their memories was amazing. I loved all the tension. The end was a little fluffy for me, but it's nice to see them have a happy ending. And, I loved the part with Buffy answering the door in Spike's shirt. Thanks for sharing.

Summary:     “What’s happened?” Angel asked over the phone.
“I just needed to talk to you,” Buffy said.
    Another pause. “About what?”
Buffy almost blurted it out. Spike’s gotten his soul back! He’s gotten his soul, and it’s driven him mad. What the hell do I do?!

I super enjoyed this story! I have to say the beginning where they're in the 1800's was my favorite part, I would have gladly kept reading about them in Victorian England. But, I enjoyed following them through time as well. WWII was probably my next favorite part. Thanks so much for writing this.

Author's Response on April 13, 2017 09:27pm

This 'verse's Buffy would definitely agree with you about the Victorian Era, as it became her favorite period in time too!! heart I'm rather partial to it myself, as it includes Charles, and anything with Charles is probably good biggrin

I'm delighted you liked my WW2 chapter! It was actually one of my favorite chapters to write. The darkness and grit of war is an incredibly formative thing, and ended up heavily shaping the rest of Buffy's life.

Thank you so much for reading and commenting, SlayrGrl! It's been my pleasure to share this story flowers
