Story Notes: The first chapter of this fic was posted in summer 2004 on my LiveJournal. I wrote 15 chapters before life happened and disrupted the story. In fall 2015, I finished the series that I thought would be a permanent WIP for the 10th anniversary round of Seasonal Spuffy. It felt so good to revisit my tale and round it out.
