Absolutely love this idea. Really enjoyed the story. One nitpick is that I thought Buffy was a bit uncharacteristically slutty for s2 in the first NC-17 scene, although everything else was slow-burning enough and difficult enough to keep me hooked. Great stuff, thanks very much.
this is the 2cd time i've read this, and i'm amazed i didn't leave a review the 1st time (maybe i read it on another cite, don't remember). this is truly a beautiful piece - it has spike really gettng what he truly wanted, and i don 't mean buffy. he received the respect from the scoobies, the strength to defy his vampiric family and to get his soul because he wanted to. i adored every funny, tender, moment of this!

Damn, she found the ring, looks like Buffy won't be able to kill him after all and that's good for Anya and Xander. Hate that Spike's been abused like that again, but now tha Buffy knows how she really feels about him, it's all good in the end, once Jenny gets Giles Orb.
Oh, thank you for letting her see that she needs him and has for a long time. Poor Xander, having to see Spike hurt like that, will they will the gem? So exciting and nerve-wracking at the same time.
Is Ethan vamped? Gues Angelus didn't give him the option after all. Poor Jenny, it's not looking good for her or someone else. I love all these characters so much, I hate to see any of them not make it.
Yup, LA waits for the both of them. This is the first time I've read of Dru using her sire's call to bring Spike back to her. Even Joss didn't use it in canon, brilliant work!

Xander's moving in, that's great and I love that Spike what's to be a role model for him. Those "dad" cracks are funny too. Hope he doesn't regret not claiming her. Dru's got me worried with her pixies and Miss Edith. Where are the scoobies, it's sunset and the to warriors are at sleep in his bed. Fabulous story, thanks Megan.

Good thing Dru like to be tortured, she's going to see a lot of it. Nice twist to the tale, Jenny being denounced from her family. Hoping she does make it this time, What of the rest of the group? Their first night to sleep together and it's a threesome, hee, hee!

Whew! thought Buffy had thrown it all away. I couldn't even bring myself to read it, just the part that it was Dru and not Buffy. Glad to know that Spike's staying right there. Buffy doesn't die the second death and unleash the First on the world. Things can still change for the better.
That was great. yup, Angel didn't think at all about her thrall and what it could mean to Giles. Hope this was the wakeup call that Buffy needed. First Giles then Willow and now finally Xander, god, I love this. thanks Megan
Damn girl, you had me going ther at first. Didn't know what was happening to Joyce and Giles. Yes, Spike must start to build his relationship with Joyce. Not easy to lie about your age when it's your girlfriends mother you're talking to. Loved the conversation between him and Giles, I so happy to see how much they're bonding, nothing like how things were with him and Angel. I was wonderng when the "soul" idea, was going to come up. Now to get him a place to live and soundproofed.
It's going to be a few long months for them, how quickly will they go by? Angel hasn't got a happy from Dru yet, still waiting for the other shoe to drop.

If the knowledge that a 120 year old vamp, didn't what to take her virginity when she offered it, reasurre Willow of his intensions...then nothing will. fantastic chapter.

OMG! that was hot. Boy, does she have a lot to tell Willow about tomorrow. Her first adult sexual encounter. Not surprised Spike lost it! Did you say Angel and Dru seemed happy at the park? That can't be good. Dru knows about the curse and she could use that to get her "daddy" back. Great work.
What a great day for Spike and Giles. So glad he didn't forget about the treasure and how it would help both Buffy and her mom, not to mention the brownie points he just racked up with Giles and Joyce! Can't wait for them to start their relationship. She was the first one to see him for what he was, more then a monster, someone that feels and cares. Guess I should have saw that coming, Buffy wanting to know about Angelus. Love this, just I'll be saying that throughout this entire story.

Oh no, she just had to do it, didn't she? Still stuck on the whole "soul" thing. He went from heaven to hell in ten seconds flat. I loved that he went to Giles and had that talk with him. Let him in on a few things that could happen and that he was there for Buffy and her fight against evil. Yeah, she's young but not stupid. This Buffy's in for a hugh lesson in life.
Dru and her sight but how will Angelus come to be? Not the same way I hope. Love this lustful Buffy, when will Angel figure it out, that's it's not him she's lusting after? Can't wait to finish reading this.
