This chapter was wonderful. I believe Buffy is secondary in this chaper . . . .it's all about Spike! How he reacts to her admissions with complete love! He's an open book! I wish that she was just as forthcoming but in typical Buffy style she'll hold her feelings in until SHE'S ready! lol Really amazing story so far!

The story was great in the beginning, then it got worse. You made Buffy a whore with no emotions but betrayal and angry for no reason and Spike a bitch and then you gave Spike a little bit of backbone way to late into the story. While Spike felt guilty for almost the whole story Buffy felt no guilt at all. I won't be reading this story again because I personally hated it but your writing and Grammar and all that is good.

Well thank goodness my writing and my grammar is good, cos I was worried there for a second. I don't know why you even bothered to continue the story, when it was so obvious it wasn't to your liking. Most people would have abandoned the story and keep their thoughts to themselves, but then I might be confusing you with polite society.
I get that you didn't like how I was portraying the characters, that came through loud and clear in your numerous (if not ridiculous) reviews. But seriously, you need to get over the fact that Buffy and Spike didn't conform to your narrow view of them as characters. The whole point of fanfiction is for authors to explore the characters they love in a wide variety of scenarios. The plots and characterisations in my stories will not necessarily appeal to all people, but they appeal to me. You seem to have forgotten that this is my story. And no amount of superfluous criticism is going to make me change the outcome of one of my fics.
If I were you I'd refrain from reading any other fics of mine, because I don't write fluffy happy stories where Buffy and Spike have a perfect relationship. That was part of the show I loved most, and it's something I explore in fanfiction.
Finally, taking your frustrations about things that happened on the show shows just how little you know or observed about Buffy the Vampire Slayer in the first place. While I'd like to take credit for the characters and the series, I can't. Thank you for reminding me of the fact that I write fanfic for myself and the way I see fit, not to cater the whims of others.
Wow giving Spike a lil back bone finally but the damage has already been done imo Buffy is a lil skank in this story therefor I do not like her and I am a Spike/Buffy shipper.

OK this story just got worse, Buffy knew the immortal slept with Dru and Darla and she doesn't even care? and Spike is like not angry or hurt at all over that? Unrealistic and just plain gay right there.

I liked the story but really Spike feeling all guilty of not telling Buffy is not right imo. I mean she tells him she loves him right when he was about to die and like almost right after she finished kissing angel(a day or 2?) and she gets all hurt and angry feeling betrayed.
Also Spike should of been more hurt/angry about her dating someone soulless I mean she made a huge deal out of him being soulless just to go be with someone else who was soulless(doesn't matter if she was using him) the story is only readable imo so far I'm not going to read it again after this time. I might but I doubt it, Spikes just a pansy in this story.
Author's Response: Okay, you do realise that your complaint about Buffy kissing Angel and then Buffy telling Spike she loved him before he died was canon right? As in, it came right from the show? As to how Spike feels about Buffy dating someone else, I'm very happy with how I had him respond. You need to understand that this is my story and I will write the characters as I believe they should be written. If you think that my story is only readable then why bother continuing?
