I was reading some of your other fics, and I must say that you are extremely talented at developing and having us actually feel the relationship between Buffy and Spike. They're so much in character, that I think you may be a BtVS writer in disguise ;)
I especially love in this fic the friendship between S and B. It's gradual, but close, and it really makes me smile :)

Buffy having the "I Love You" dream was a nice twist, and the way she is spazing out about it is funny, too. Yeah, she needed to talk to Willow, but in the end I think that realizing that she needed someone to make her as "happy" as Willow is with Tara is going to make her times with Riley just that much harder. (Not that I care about Riley being happy, cause I don't!!!)

This was extremely believable and very well written. I enjoyed it very much--Buffy's gradual realisations of everything Riley wasn't to her that she never got in the show. I can't wait for more.
