Must Have: 1. Spuffy 2. Past Buffy and Spike can't find out about the time traveller until the end of the fic, or not at all 3. Angel bashing from the spuffy couple! (But not so much that it's silly) Riley bashing is nice, too. 4. If the time traveller is in Anya, nobody takes him/her seriously, and he/she has a hard time making people listen. 5. LOTS of UST
Can't Have: 1. Bander. (So if it's Buffy in Anya... no experimentation) 2. Ridiculous dumpings (Buffy's not going to just drop Riley in a second! If he goes because she sends him away, it's a thought-out decision 3. Nonstop vulnerable!Spike
Might Have: 1. Spander (If Spike's in Xander)

If I recall S7 rightly (which I might not; it's been a while), there was a bit in one of the episodes that showed the creation of the first Slayer, and there was a demon involved.
By my calculations, the math goes thusly:
Girl + Demon = Slayer
But also:
Other Person + Demon = Vampire ( - Soul)
Ergo, the thought popped into my brain that the Slayer could, conceivably, be without a soul.
And so this is the challenge:
Buffy discovers at some point that she doesn't have a soul, because of the mojo that created the first Slayer. The hows, whys and whens are entirely up to you, the writer. It can be AU or canon, though I'd like Spike to not be dead, because I just like him so darned much.
Personally, I see this as a character study more than anything else; I'd like you to focus on Buffy's reaction to the new knowledge about herself, and how it impacts her relationships with people and with slaying. I'd like this not to be too superficial; it's a pretty serious change, especially considering the emphasis that the Scoobies et al. put on having a soul.
Ready... set... go!

I've been thinking about this for a while, but I completely fail at writing anything more than one-shots, and this kind of needs to be a multi-part story.
Instead of Buffy being the Slayer, it's her mum; Joyce, as the Slayer, became pregnant and gave birth to Buffy after she was Chosen. Thanks to good, old-fashioned science, whatever the Slayer mojo alters in the Chosen One's genes is passed along to the Slayer's children - but because of the nature of the Slayer line, is only activated when the child is a girl.
The end result is that Buffy is born with all the trappings of a Slayer.
Must have:
- Much as I like her, Joyce is going to have to die, and probably when Buffy is quite young; infant or toddler, your choice. I'd like to see Joyce go out fighting, since I think she deserved something better in the series, but how it goes down is entirely up to you - if you want to keep it an aneurism, I won't smite you.
- Buffy being sent off into the care of the Council, and the stodgy old bastards scrambling to raise a preternaturally strong, willful little girl. Hi-jinks ensue. I'd like to see the Council trying to go it alone at first, in their eternal arrogance, before eventually caving and calling for reinforcements; who they hire to help is up to you.
- Spike must be evil, at least to start. And any romance between them has to wait until Buffy's at least sixteen, if not older. It's up to you how they meet, but meet they must, since this is, of course, a Spuffy story.
- The demon world finding out that there's a child running around with Slayer powers, and they figure she'll be easy pickings. The implications of this are pretty much up to you; I'm not picky how it goes down.
- Buffy eventually ending up in Sunnydale, where the current Slayer is running the show. The current Slayer can be anyone you want - as long as it isn't one of the Scoobies - and her relationship with Buffy can be good, bad or neutral, or even frenemy-like; it's up to you.
- A Spike/Dru relationship that's reminiscent of S2 to begin with.
Optional/open to interpretation:
- The Scoobies being older than Buffy. You can keep them all the same age if you want, too. Regardless, they will probably have experienced some of the canon apocalypses by the time Buffy meets them.
- Robin Wood, in some incarnation; principal of the high school, Watcher, whatever. Whether Buffy meets him or not is up to you.
- Buffy sojourning with her father or her father's family, either when she's older or directly after Joyce dies. Hank can be in the picture or not, it's up to you.
- Buffy/Other, Spike/Other (obviously); neither can be permanent, of course, but I won't die if it's there. I'd rather nothing graphic, though, i.e. Spike and Dru shagging like rabid bunnies; I can handle it if it's implied, though.
- Claiming, however you want it to go down.
- Another baby or a pregnancy scare.
- Buffy directly involved in an apocalypse.
- A prophecy.
- Angelus. How he rears his ugly, over-gelled head is a free-for-all. Can be Buffy's fault, or the Slayer's, or something else entirely.
Mustn't have:
- Buffy or Spike dying. Anyone else can kick it, though.
- The romantic relationship between Buffy and Spike can't be abusive/violent/awful. I don't really care if they kick the crap out of each other before that, but I wasn't particularly fond of the way S6 played out in terms of their relationship, so I don't want to see it go in that direction. They can argue, and stuff, but don't push it too far.
- Spike getting chipped.
- Drusilla running off with a Chaos demon; I'd like to see the Spike/Dru relationship end in a different way, whether it's before Spike and Buffy meet or after. Your choice how it goes down, but keep the slimy antlered guy out of it.
And... that's pretty much it. This fic is pretty much entirely AU, so have a party. I'd like to see the characters stay relatively close to canon, but exact copies would be kind of boring, so feel free to mix it up a bit.
As far as the rating goes, that's your choice, too. Whatever you're comfortable with, really.
In my head, I see this as something of a comedy, but if you want to take it in the opposite direction, go ahead. I'd just like to see what you're prepared to make of it.
Ready... set... go!

Ok what would happen if Willow either never learned magic or had for some reason lost her magic. Just how different would things have been had Willow not been able to do magic?
My thinking is either Angelus doesn't get resouled or someone else would have to do the spell. Say maybe they get Giles out and he decides to do the spell because he wants to help Buffy. Or it is Angelus that gets sent to hell.
Another deal could be that Willow is able to resoul Angelus but when she tries to to the 'delusting spell' say Giles finds out and calls someone to help Willow. Only th person they send to help for some reason judges Willow not worthy of the magic or they see her becoming dark and they either bind or take away Willows magic.
Another idea is that someone made a wish for Willow to have nver learned magic or that she loses her magic.
Must be SPUFFY of course happy ending for them at least. Along with a Claim at some point.
Would like to see that Buffy is actually smarter then she lets on... maybe she somehow has copies of Merrick's books and such that she can use. Or she manages to sneak in some research while no one is in the library.
Should it be needed where Xander is being his usual "bitch" about the choices Buffy is making that she at least gets to slap him ... the boy deserved it on so many occasions
Also should the story include Angel (all souled up) if he is being his normal annoying self that Buffy also gets to slap him.
Timeframe - either during or after Angel lost his soul.
No length requirement but would perfer multi chapter story.

In Season One, instead of Buffy being the slayer; it's Dawn. Dawn is the slayer and Buffy is her older, human sister. How does their role reversal change what has happened?
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least one character has to say, "At least my hair is real!"
- Buffy protecting Spike even though Dawn tells her that he's dangerous.
- Willow casting a spell that causes permanent effects on Spike/Buffy.(Claim, Turning, etc)
CANNOT HAVE:
- Buffy/Angel or Spike/Dawn. Can have Dawn/Angel if you'd like.
- Buffy as the slayer or as a potential.
- Buffy with any non-human powers. Not a slayer, a witch, or anything in between. Buffy needs to be 100% human (unless you want Spike to turn her, of course...)
No length requirements, but the longer the better. I'll enjoy reading any responses.

(Inspired by the episode “Normal Again”, the prequel comic “Slayer, Interrupted”, and a desire to see S7 basement dwelling Spike outside of the broken, guilty soul, Spuffy baggage context. Go as gritty as you like, but feel free to use black humor or make a dramedy.)
Buffy Summers, social butterfly and high school cheerleader, has suffered a massive breakdown. Her wealthy parents place her into a mental hospital with high hopes, but Buffy is deadset against cooperating and intent on wallowing in her depression. She finds an unlikely (and only) friend in fellow patient William Pratt, a restless man with a wicked sarcastic streak and intimate knowledge of how to work the facility to one’s favor.
Unfortunately, no matter how funny and sweet Buffy finds him, William’s also there for a reason. A reason which becomes clear as his lucidity comes and goes, his movements awkward and closed off, all depending on his mental state and what meds they’re trying him on. (When he takes them, that is.) But with Buffy William feels better, more like a whole man, and works to pull her out of her problems, listening to and comforting her in a way she’s quite stubbornly refusing to get from therapy. Making her laugh again.
She, in turn, becomes used to his random asides that don’t make any sense, sometimes to people who aren’t there, and the frequent reckless pranks and impulsive adventures in mischief he orchestrates out of boredom.
Must Have:
- Everything mentioned up above in the summary, if you can swing it. Take it where you will!
- William basically being Spike…just under his real name. No shy, virginal poet characterization. In fact, before being committed, he was the brash, pierced, bleached punk Buffy sees in the few photographs he shares with her. But *before* that (as always) he was poncy momma’s boy William, so feel free to let it slip out every so often. Especially when he’s not feeling so hot.
- William being older than Buffy, by at the very least three or so years. Buffy herself being still in high school, which gives you a range of 15 to 18. (She was committed at 15 in canon.)
- Mention of the medications the two are prescribed for their separate problems and demonstration of the various side-effects within the story, be they listlessness, nausea, hypersensitivity, mood swings etc. (Such things are easy to look up on the internet.) The characters sometimes getting away with not taking them, for whatever reason, leading to conflict/shenanigans. (I can imagine William doing this often, just to keep reality from crashing down on him…and Buffy doing it just to be difficult.)
- A relatively happy ending. Maybe Buffy visiting William after she’s left, with him showing undeniable improvement in the mental area. As long as it makes sense and doesn’t feel like a cop-out when meshed with the rest of the story you've written. Feel free to make use of a small time skip for your epilogue, like a few years or whatever's realistic.
Can’t Have:
- The institution being some sort of health-code violating bedlam or abusive torture prison pit. It’s just a normal facility, staffed with people both patient and not so patient. Doesn’t mean there isn’t skirting of rules occasionally, though. On a completely opposite note, don’t treat the place like some sort of straight-jacket filled summer camp or free-roam recreation palace.(Exception: You have a really good plot for it being a terrible hellhole or you're making it a historical.)
- Other canon characters populating the place (Willow, Xander, Angel, etc.) and making groups. Concentrate mainly on the interactions and therapy of William and Buffy, who feel very much like they can only trust each other. So…no Hospital Scoobies! Also, no Buffy having a serious boyfriend (Angel, Riley, random jock #28) waiting for her in the real world. Hospital’s got enough drama without worrying over that frustrating sub-plot.
- Sex or romance that isn’t Buffy/William (though implications of past sexual encounters is okay), main character death, rape, or an unhappy ending. And realistic endings do not count as “unhappy” endings, though I’d appreciate if you avoided “bittersweet”. It’d be nice if Buffy’s hospital stay wasn’t made more difficult by a pregnancy, as well.
Optional:
- If you really don’t want to go the depression/breakdown route with Buffy (I was aiming towards shades of early S6), feel free to have her there for something else, such as a mental illness or something trauma induced. (Suicide attempt?) As long as it’s in character and fits the tone. Hell, you can even give her those “Slayer” delusions if you like, just keep whatever she has different from William’s issues. (And call him Spike if you really want to.)
- Towards the end: The two of them, for whatever reason you’d like, deciding to sneak out and make a go of it together. Escape everything. They succeed, spending however many nights together you can reasonably fit into the narrative, playing pretend at being normal and domestic (Maybe even getting their hair bleached again!)…Only for William to sadly realize that, even though he’s brought his meds along like a good boy, he’s honestly still sick and Buffy’s only running away from her problems yet again. With her reluctant agreement, they return to the hospital and face the music.
- You can use some of the show’s authority figures, such as Giles or Wesley, for doctors if you’d like, but I’d keep it simple. Also acceptable are more minor characters as staff or patients, such as Andrew, Jonathan, or Clem. Making Anya one of the nurses, albeit a strange one, would be awesome. Not only would she be neutral enough to be a convenient plot device (bribable!) and yet still a believable employee, but her “bedside manner” interacting with the various sick people would be really fun to write!

This is a crossover with Twilight. After that horribly traumatic kissing scene between Buffy and Angel, Spike leaves Sunnydale believing that he really meant nothing to her.
He goes in search of people who can help him. So he travels to Italy to get the Volturi. They agree to help him for a price. After the First is defeated Spike must join the ranks of the Volturi. He then travels to Forks, Washington and gets the Cullens and the Wolves to help.
Meanwhile back in Sunnydale, Buffy convinced Angel they no longer have any sort of romantic relationship. The LA gang stays to help with the fight. Xander relishes the fact that he was correct in saying Spike wouldn't stay with her.
Spike returns to Sunnydale, seemingly alone. He told no one where he's been. Few weeks later one of the potentials have a run in with the Volturi, and Spike must reveal what he's been up too. Buffy all this time is trying to prove to Spike that she loves him. But does she succeed?
MUST HAVES:
1. Spike getting captured by who? Up to you.
2. A free for all fight between Buffy and Spike in front of everyone. Which leads to a little more.
3. No one can know about the deal with the Volturi until it's almost too late.
4. SPUFFY
5. Cullens/Volturi/and the Wolves all bashing on Angel.
6. SPUFFY ENDING! A happy one.
7. Buffy has to suffer to earn Spike.
8. Rosalie calls Buffy out on her treatment of Spike, in front of everyone somehow.
CANNOT HAVE:
1. Buffy redeeming herself so easily.
2. Bangel
3. Spike easily forgiving her.
4. Spike dying.

Have Ned, Chuck and Emerson come to Sunnydale .Set Post Chipping at earliest.Have Emerson refer to Chuck as dead girl at least once where a Scooby overhears. Conflict ensues . Eventually have Ned/Chuck's romance teach the Scoobies that just because love doesn't fit into normal parameters doesn't make it any less real or true. Possible have Anya know something about Ned's ability. Whether or not they find a way for Ned and Chuck to touch is up to you.
Also it might be interesting to see what would happen when Ned touches a vampire.

I've think on this story for a while, but i'm so busy and havn't time to write by myself, so...:
It would be situated on the begining of Buffy eight season's comics, but wouldn't take into account Angel's six season's comics. It'd start when Amy cast a spell on Buffy and she falls asleep like Sleeping Beauty.
Must have:
- Romance, some Angst and some Comedy, NC-17.
- The only way to wake up Buffy is when someone that she loves (in a romantical way) kiss her.
- Spike never resurrected on Angel's five season.
- After Spike and Cordelia's deaths, Buffy and Angel become real friends (they don't love each other anymore) and share their own lovers losses.
- Dawn is the only who knows about the new relationship between Angel and Buffy, the others still think they're in love with each other.
- The guy who Dawn lost her virginity with, was Connor (giggles).
- After Angel knows about sleeping Buffy's state, he mails to scoobies something that the Slayer ask to find, the Spike's Medallion.
- Of course, the medallion brings back Spike (you choose how and when).
- A happy Spuffy ending, with scoobies's accept and Angel's blessing.
Can Have:
- Cordy's resurrection.
- Dawn can still be giant.
- Angel and Buffy don't know anything about Dawn and Connor's relationship (you choose how they find out).
- Willow've broke up with Kennedy and she realizes she was in love with Xander o Giles. (LOL)
- When Spike comes back, he doesn't remember nothing or he's a ghost.

NC-17, A lot of Comedy, Romance and some Angst at the begining.
A twist of Willow's spell on "Tabula Rasa". Instead of a spell to forget, Willow doing a spell for Buffy find her happiness. Of course the spell won't work like Willow wants.
Buffy is send into a kind of alternative reality in which she isn't the slayer, but a normal girl.
In this Alternative reality:
- "Buffy the vampire Slayer" is a TV show and Buffy is a fan of it.
- Buffy is studying at university and she share apartment with her boyfriend (Spike, of course)
- Although Joyce is still dead, she married with Giles before dying and Dawn lives with him.
- The gang is still the gang, though nobody is a witch or ex-demon.
- Buffy and Spike meet on their first year of university and at the beginning they hated each other.
When she wake up on this reality and find out all of this, she freak out during a time.
Can Have:
- You decide if when Buffy learns about happiness she should be returned to her reality or not.
- When she sees Spike come in to the apartment, after wake up in that dimension, she punch him.
Mustn’t have:
- Buffy pregnant or married with Spike, they’re in love but they’re young and don’t think on marriage for the moment.

I want a Cross-over with the X-files! :D (Pretty please?)
Basically, my thought is, something spooky and maybe slightly governmenty shows up in Sunnydale, and Mulder and Scully show up to investigate. They wind up in Buffy's way, which is how they meet, yada yada. Let's set it in an AU Season 5, before Spike and Buffy get together, but he loves her.
CAN NOT HAVE!-
Riley. Ew.
MUST HAVE-
Mulder flirting with Buffy and Scully and Spike getting angry.
Sexy XXX smut.
And a nice Buffy/Spike and Mulder/Scully ending.
ANYTHING ELSE is up to the author. be sure to choose whether you want Dawn involved or not, she's completely optional.

For whatever reason (curse, prophecy, The Curciamentum. or whatever you can think up) Buffy is required to get married. Angel isn't an option, but it can't be because of the soul. It has to be another reason (age, he killed his sire, or whatever you can think up). Buffy decides that Spike's the only vamp of choice. Enter our favorite bleached blond vampire. Lots of verbal sparring, but try to keep the physical fights down to the bare minimum. Happy Ending.

Must haves:
1. Happy Spuffy ending. Evil or good is up to you.
2. Buffy's story can be whatever you want, but she has to be evil.
3. Anything Angel does to reform Buffy or make her want him has to fail.
4. Eventually resiring of Spike by Buffy
5. Scoobs can be vamped, especially Faith, other wise no interference from the Scoobs

In the mid-1980's, Spike is away from Drusilla, and in a Los Angeles shopping Mall he comes across a little girl watching as some tweed dressed men drag away her mom. He doesn't attack her, but actually talks to her. She tells him that they called her a potential and they want to take her away from her mom. She can see darkness hanging over them. She surprises him when she tells them they are looking for him too; that someday they would be great champions and a future evil is trying to rid the world of them. How she knows this is up to you (dreams, time travel/buffy trapped in her six year old body, magic). They are able to recruit other canon characters to help them, ie Giles, Anyanka, Angel, Lawson(I just like him, okay?) etc.
Can't have:
Buffy/Angel, it has to be Spuffy all the way.
Nothing romantic between Spike and Buffy until she's at least 16
Verbal sparring is wonderful, both Spike and Buffy are sarcastic and witty, but no violence or torture.

I was watching this movie and I couldn't help but think that it would fit great with Spike/Buffy.
So, the main plot is:
-Buffy and another Scooby girl are sisters. Buffy's sister wants to date the hunky college-boy Angel, but their mother, Joyce, won't allow her to until Buffy starts to date as well. So, Angel enlists the help of Spike, paying him to get Buffy to go out with him so that he can date the other Summers girl.
You can have any Scooby girl as Buffy's sister; whether it's Willow, Faith, Cordelia, Dawn, or some other Buffy character.
However I do not want:
-Spike/Other: Please, please, PLEASE no Spike/Dru. Past mentions are okay, but don't have something like Spike dating Buffy to make Dru jealous. Just..No.
-Abusive Relationsip. I don't want anything like Season 6, please.
Everything else is up to the author. Have fun!

At the end of Chosen Buffy stayed with Spike while the destroyed the Hellmouth. But instead of dying they were sent back in the past to correct their past mistakes and the chance at a happy ending. They find themselves in the beginning of season 4. While there they decide to join a band, Dingos Ate My Baby. Oz's band are looking for a new look and need a new singer and guitarist. The older Buffy and Spike decide to go as Anne and Will so there's not confusion with 2 Buffys and Spikes. They even look slightly different. Anne's/Buffy's hair is a bright blond to match Will's/Spikes. She wears darker and more revealing clothing than season 4 Buffy and her hair is in soft curls.Will's/Spike's hair is still platnnium and short like season 4 Spike but hw wears it with short messy curls instead of slicked back. Also, dark jeans and some varriation of colors. To make it easier, people outside the Scooby Gang will be told Spike and Will are twins and Anne is Buffy's older sister.
**Must Haves:
-Riley bashing
- the song "Fly on the Wall" (Miley Cyrus)
-Will/Spike finding the Gem of Amara
-Someone stealing Giles' liquor supply
-The Magic Box getting an early start
-Funny Faith confusion with 2 Buffy's
*Optionals:

-Dawn
-Giles/Joyce pairing
-Will and Spike calling Giles Dad

I had this idea for a story. If anyone woul like to use this as a basis for a strory, short or long. Please accept this challenge.
Post NFA. - Spike got the Shanshu and was turned human, and hates it. Spike hates having a weak human body, even though he actually is stronger now than when he was human the first time. Spike refuses to stop fighting and keeps getting hurt, sometimes really bad. Angel tries to cover his back and protect him during the fights, which just makes Spike angry (angry at Angel for trying to keep him alive) and hate being human even more. After a fight where Spike gets hurt really bad and is unconscious, Angel realizes that Spike is trying to get himself killed. (Spike wants to die, but he can’t just let himself be killed, his pride won’t let him commit suicide, he has to go down fighting.) Angel calls Buffy. (Will she care? Will she even want to help?)

I've been dying for an all human, high school fic. I know, I know - it's been done. But the well has dried up and it's hard to find one I haven't read. So, without further delay:
It's generic, but Spike and Buffy must hate each other in the beginning, slowly developing into lust and then love [aaw]. You can pretty much play around with whatever story line you like, but make sure you keep it realistic [no bank robberies so they can run away to Mexico together]...and try not to character bash too much. I want the characters to be as true to the cannon as possible, meaning no nerd Buffy's or overly soppy Spike's. And if you make Spike "William" I will hunt you down and stab you.
Things to include:
* Spike or Buffy have another pairing; i.e. Buffy is dating perhaps Angel and Spike maybe with Drusilla - whatever floats your boat. Nothing graphic but a little jealousy helps with the UST, as does the impossibility of them getting together.
* Bad ass Spike. Channel him from the show.
* Querky meeting in which they immediately hate each other.
* Bundles of UST. And I mean BUNDLES.
* Sex against a wall....and saying that I should probably mention this must be NC17.
* Spike and Buffy must get put in an awkward situation together. Like, say, getting locked in a closet.
* I want to see them making each other jealous. Think "When she was bad" and Buffy's mating dance Xander while Angel looked on. I'm also hoping this jealously will lead to passionate outbursts of sexy-time.
* No losing of the virginity. Experienced is the key.
* Witty banter. I want my characters funny!
* Of course, spuffy...and preferably a nice spuffy ending.
* Minimal angst. BUT I don't want an over abundance of romance. Spike spurting sonnets to Buffy is just annoying to read.
That is all. Anything else you may want to include, go for your life.
Enjoy writing - hop to it!
